Music: Patron Tequila - Paradiso Girl
Mood: Giddy
Hey crew! So much to update you guys on. I woke up early today from a good night rest. I put on some Origin's Never A Dull Moment face mask for the first time, stuck a Sandillon in my mouth (Mexican lollipop), and now sitting on the toilet. I figured, this would be the best time to get my thoughts out. So where was I since my last entry. Oh yes! I dumped Antonio and got with Derek. So last Wednesday Derek planned to spend the night. We text each other during the day on Wednesday and confirmed I was still picking him up that night so the next morning we would take my car to the shop to get the automatic locks in the back passenger doors fixed, then head off to San Francisco to fly the kites he got me. An hour before I got off I text him to let him know I was heading home for a bit before I was heading over to pick him up. I got no response. I rushed home, did a quick tidy up of the place for him, took a quick shower and text him when I was done. 5 mins passed by and no response. I text him a couple more times. No response. By 10PM I called him and just got his voicemail. Still No response by 10:30PM. I called multiple times after that and still only voicemail. By 11PM I gave up not sure if he was ok. By 1AM he text me to say "I just woke up". That was the same reason that I dumped Antonio for. The next day I asked if I was still picking him up after the got the locks fixed. His response was: "I have to study. Let's do it Sunday." That pissed me off and sealed the deal on my decision not to see him again. In the meantime, Antonio continues to blow up my phone calling me "Baby..." and asking to hang out all the time. Derek still says "Good morning", "Good night", "Hope you have a good day", and "XOXO". Which to me is pointless.
Update in the dating department is that I will be going on a date with a guy name Spencer on Wednesday for a late night coffee. I talked to him today briefly and I have no clue what he's about. He asked me on a date so I'll b sure to update.
On the more brighter and more exciting-as-it-gets in my old age, I went out for the first time since forever with Timineri and Harrison. It was pretty much an uneventful night. It reminded me of how I don't miss the bars/clubs one bit. However, it was great to see my entourage. Some random friend of Vince won't leave me alone and was all up on me. I enjoyed seeing Michael back from Iraq. However, he was pretty drunk. Harrison left early as always. I definitely enjoyed the company of Timineri's new "friend," Tommy. It was a pretty tamed night, not too crazy. I also ran into Robert who I haven't seen since college. We went to high school together and have an interesting history. We stopped talking and ran into each other at Badlands. What's worse is he decided to sit right next to me outside on the patio and it turned out we have mutual friends. Less of a shock factor: after the last call, we exited to the Depot and there was Sammy and his boyfriend. I waved non-nonchalantly. Timineri and I need to start partying in San Francisco, LA or NYC more to keep our blood pumppin'... Well, mine at least. It doesn't take much besides alcohol to keep Timineri entertained. But as uneventful as it was, it was great to see my lovely friends, especially Timineri.
I spent the whole day with Sister yesterday. We haven't done that since I came back from NM. I woke up early yesterday to buy tickets for Avatar 3D at the IMAX theater. I picked Sister up and we went to Kawa Sushi for lunch. She liked it! Then we had a blast going shopping. We first went to Nordstrom's Rack and then we hit the mall. I ended up buying Origin's lip conditioner and I got a sample of a facial scrub and mask: Never A Dull Moment (which I'm currently sporting on the toilet). While we were getting a smoothie, I spotted a cute guy that was selling candy at a booth. I told Sister we MUST buy candy from him (hrmm, sounds dirty much? ...Eh! I'm into that!) So that why I'm sucking on a Mexican lollipop now. We headed to JC Penny so Sister can look at some jackets and you wouldn't believe if I told you: Romeo bought a leather jacket! It was on sale and it looks amazing on me! I hate wearing jackets and swore o myself and the world that I would never do it, but I couldn't resist how much hotter I looked in it. However, it's still uncomfortable and takes some getting used to.
Then Sister and I went to see Avatar 3D at the IMAX theater. I rocked the huge 3D stunnas as Sister took pics of me. All I have to say is my first IMAX experience was amazing. What made it better was it was with Sister! We plan on coming back for Alice In Wonderland!
I then concluded the night with hitting the drive-thru at El Forastero for 3 rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese and a steak taco with iced green tea. Mmm!
Now I gotta get off this toilet, hit the shower and off to work I go!
