"Prepping For Gay Pride" 06/10/2009
Music: Fly - Hilary Duff
Mood: Tired
Hey guys,
I haven't written for a few days I know. I'd been so busy, stressed out and have had very little rest. I'm very home sick and I just want to move back home. First of all, I just really miss Timineri. I haven't talked to him for a very long while until last night. A part of it is because I've been busy. A bigger part of it is after every time I talk him I start missing him even more than I already do. I'm so emotionally drained right now.
I was supposed to have my interview a few days ago. What happened was I went home sick because I threw at work around noon. My single point of contact Angie in CA decided to send a email to my work email and asked if I was available at 4PM? The most logical and appropriate thing to do was to text or call me. Of course I didn't get that email until I returned the next day. Even if I was there, I wouldn't have been available to do an interview anyways since I would be working. It's so frustrating because we keep on playing email and phone tag. Of course, this also means that I won't be going to Argentina to support our service partners because promoting is more important to me.
Dance rehearsals for Gay Pride have been under productive. Since I have a real job and am not able to rehearse until around 7PM, by the time I get there people are already tired and I barely get to rehearse. I have my choreographies down, I just need to clean it up. Regardless, the process blows. Jonte can't make the show. Jessica just got mono yesterday so we can't count her in. Friday show will be a tight squeeze. Saturday I'm looking forward to since it's just go-go dancing.
On the brighter side of things, I'm going to visit my dermatologist today. Apparently, the "break outs" on my body turned out to be not break outs at all. A couple weeks ago when they took me off of accutane because my skin is now flawless, they tried doing extraction on my body. They found out what popped out were hair follicles, so they're just ingrown hair on my body. They advised me to put Tazorac on my body for two weeks to soften the skin so it's be easier for them to extract and also giving the Accutane to cycle off my body. When taking Accutane, you're more prone to scarring. So today if they can't manually extract it they'll just laser it out.
I've also fixed the mailing list. I've made it easier for people to sign up and for some reason, those with AOL and Yahoo email addresses have not been getting confirmation emails. That has also been fixed I believe. Those who have already signed up for the mailing list have been automatically migrated to the new mailing list system (obviously).
Other than that, not much else is going on guys! Wish me luck for my performance Friday and Saturday!
