"Final Formal Phone Interview"
05/17/2009

Music: Broken-Hearted Girl - Beyonce

Mood: Productive confused

Hey guys,

Last night I couldn't sleep until 3AM. I wonder if it was the excessive caffeine I took in during the day, or could it have been the fact that I told Nick I will be moving back to CA if I do get the position. He wasn't exactly too happy with what I had to say and I wasn't either.

On Wednesday, I spoke to Store Manager in Chico, Angie. I called to followup regarding the transitional process to store rep. She feels as though I am a solid fit for retail. She advised me that she had spoken to Regional Hiring Mananger, Edmund and a store manager, John Reynolds. She advised me that she will forward my information to John and he will followup with me to schedule a formal interview by the end of this week.

She would like to set the expectation of 45-60 days for the transitional process to be completed, due to tight budgeting hours and finding an available slot for me at the store. Angie also said, if push comes to shove, she's willing to see if she can work out the possibility of T-Mobile taking on an extra head count, as in me, for a while just to get the ball rolling (but we'll cross that bridge once we get there).

Angie complemented my eager to "bridge the knowledge gap between Tech Care and Retail". She gave me kudos for "being well spoken" and advised me to keep that up during my formal interview.

By Friday, I received a call at work from John to setup a final formal interview. His greeting consisted of: "I heard alllll about you." It was a positive, but brief, conversation. My final formal phone interview with John will be this Thursday at 6PM MST. If I get it then I'm expected to move back soon.

I have been working hard all day today to prepare myself for the interview. I am blessed with so many supporters who is on board to help me through this transitioning period. Within the next three days, I will be conducting mock interviews with my supervisor, Barbara; previous supervisor, Daren; and my Android Research supervisor, Kyera. As of right now, I am formatting my answers to anticipated interview questions. I'm taking a quick break just to update you guys.

Other good news is I finally was able to add ten new galleries since my last posted: "Journey To New Mexico"! So check them out! I'm working on posting a lot more. I will keep you guys posted.

As of right now, I need to get back to rehearsing in the mirror.
