So there's not a whole lot of excitement that went on today. In fact, it was somewhat of a drag. I had to work my whole shift today. It was super, super, super slow; but they never sent us home early. I wanted to hit the gym. The gym closes early today so of course I didn't make it.


Although, I did visit Nick at Banana Leaf. I was starving to death so I order spring rolls (which was sub par) and pad thai (which I always order). I had conversations with him as he circled his tables. The other server, Lan (whom I spoke to before), kept on telling me what a great guy he is. She continued to tell me his life story. She then quickly disappears as fast as she came. She repeated that cycle for at least four times tonight. Nick was talking to me so much that I was afraid he was going to get in trouble. But then I sat there and talked, talked, talked and talked some more intermittently with Lan and Nick. After spending nearly two hours at the restaurant, I asked Nick for my bill. His response was, "What are you talking about?" He continued to speak in Chinese. I love to it when boys go bilingual on me. Haha! The jerk paid for my dinner. He reminds me of myself because that's something that I would do. Come to think of it, I totally did that a couple days ago. So visiting him definitely turned my day around.


So I'm just sitting here relaxing before going to bed.
