"Looking Forward To Looking Up"

Mood: Stoked

Howdy-didly-doo!

Today is a good day. Despite the fact that I deposited some checks into the wrong accounts and had to put up with rude customer service at Bank Of America, things started to turn around.

First of, lets start with some bad news. I, unfortunately, got word from my supervisor last night that I got disqualified for the Traveling Product Trainer job. T-Mobile pretty much gave the position to someone who was already a trainer. So I got turned down only because the other person had more internal experience. I still feel good about it, because everyone was trying so hard to get me prepared for this position. I'm glad that my supervisor, Barbara, my ex-supervisor, Daren and my assistant supervisor, Sarah all came together and became a support structure in this journey and career pathing. I view it as a minor roadblock. I'm determined to get back to Sacramento and I will not let this detour my focus. I need to stay focus! I have been continuing to lead team meetings and I will be shadowing a store representation next Wednesday. After my showing, I will be working closing with my leadership team to apply for the Store Sales Representative position available in Sacramento. I should have no problem getting that job. I'm more than confident... My leadership is more than confident!

Today, I woke up early and did some laundry. After laundry, I went to Bank Of America and Bank Of Albuquerque to bring all of my negative accounts current! I also was able to make my car payment before it went past due. Things are really starting to look up financially.

I decided to look around online and window shopped for laptops. There were some Sony Vaio laptops and I was drooling over for. I, of course, can't afford them, but I tried applying for financing anyways. Go figure, they denied it. I don't know why I do this to myself. I started to feel really bad, because I'm dying without a computer. I then decided to look at Dell. I have never really been a fan of Dell. But I found a laptop that was VERY nice! I was surprised at how nice it is! It's a fuckin' sexy laptop I must say! I decided to try applying for financing for laughs... But I did not laugh at all. Instead, I went crazy because I got approved for $1,500 credit line with Dell!!! Say hello to my Dell Studio XPS 13 which will arrive on or before April 2, 2009! It features: Premium design with genuine leather accents, anodized aluminum, "edge-to-edge" display and backlit keyboard, Intel® Core™ 2 Duo P8700 for blazing fast performance, 4GB1 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1067MHz, and 320GB2 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive. My total checkout was $1,349.17 and payments will only be $41.00 a month.

I'm looking forward to looking up!
