"Back In Control" 03/03/2009
Mood: Hungry
It'd been a while since I'd posted. Life has been moving in a more positive direction for me. I definitely feel a change within myself. It's like I'm making a movement into a new era for myself. I feel as if I'm going a metamorphic stage and emerging into a better person. I'm starting to take control of my life in every aspect. I only have $300 left to bring my Bank Of America account current. I most likely will close Bank Of America after I bring it current. I then only have $88 left to bring Bank Of Albuquerque current. It'll most likely take a couple more pay checks, but I'm surely getting to my goal financially. I'd been watching what I eat, counting the calories and being conscious of a healthy diet. I do feel much better about myself, especially after jogging the other day. I just need to workout and exercise more consistently, most likely after when I move back to CA. Most importantly, I applied for a traveling product trainer position with T-Mobile, which is based out of Sacramento, CA. It's basically my one-way ticket back home. I'd been working hard on making sure my scores are meeting or exceeding expectations. I worked closely with my supervisor for guidance and to better prepare myself for my career pathing. I lead my team meeting yesterday which turned out to be a success, something that I can speak to during my interview. My supervisor is making plans for me to shadow a store representative so I can get an idea of how the store operates and exactly how much knowledge store representatives have. I can use that experience to talk about how store representatives don't receive as an extensive training as our call center technicians do and I can be the one to bridge that gap. In addition to that, I'd been a support structure for my team, answering questions when leadership is busy or not available. So I'm working hard to get this position and there's no reason why I shouldn't get it. I feel that I'm regaining more and more control of my life and the direction that I need to go everyday. It's a good feeling.
