"My Wedding" 02/04/2009
Music: Take My Breath Away - Jessica Simpson
Mood: Refreshed
Yesterday, I was listening to Jessica Simpson's "Take My Breath Away". I told McCraw I want that song to play in my wedding. I was asked what kind of wedding would I like. I dreamed of getting married since I was twelve years old.
I want it to be in a big beautiful chapel with lots of people. The chapel decorated with lots of flowers and lights. We would have photographers and a camera crew document this big wedding from start to finish. I want my mom to walk me down the isle in my white tuxedo while our song would play. Arriving face to face with my husband-to-be in his gorgeous black tuxedo where my best friend, Reverend Timineri would marry us. After exchanging our vows, he grabs me and gives me the biggest kiss and carries me out the chapel as "Take My Breath Away" plays as we exit, where there are even more people and guests throwing confetti and flowers. With our backs facing everyone, me still in my husband's arms, he would lift me up high and I'd throw the bouquet behind me. I wonder who would catch it.
We then would get into a carriage with a white horse to take a stroll of the town in the setting sun. We would laugh, cry, kiss and being hand in hand throughout our trip. After our stroll we would be picked up in our white limo and arrive to perhaps our backyard for our reception where everybody is already waiting. I always wanted a backyard wedding with lots of beautiful lights, flowers and decorations. We would have disposable cameras at every table so our guests could capture the memories for us too. The DJ would announce our arrival and our first dance as a married couple. There will be lots of food, drinks and DJ playing all kinds of music. We would all celebrate all night. No worries, no pretense, no sorrows, just love. Our guests and loved ones wishing the world for us and saying the sweetest things that would make us laugh, cry and knowing Timinieri he would say something that would make us laugh and cry at the same time. When the party is over, the guests are gone... I instinctively would be cleaning up the mess, but my husband would put his arms around me from behind and kiss my neck. We are still in our tuxedos, of course, not looking so glamorous as we did during the day. He would make me stop cleaning and would make love to me in every room in our beautiful home that night. I love suits so I definitely would take my time and enjoy my husband in his tuxedo. As we make love and take off our tuxedos, we admire how lucky and beautiful each other are, him in nothing left but a black jock strap and me in a white jock strap and our matching wedding bands. We would passionately make love throughout the night. I would wake up next to my husband in the morning, like every morning for the rest of my life, watching him still asleep as the sunlight rise on his beautiful face. I would always get up before him to make him breakfast in bed and turn on his favorite channel in the morning.
And that my dear, is how I'd want my wedding to be.
