"Merry Late Christmas & Happy New Year"
01/07/2009

Mood: Tired

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everybody! I know it's late. Sorry it'd taken me a long while to write again. As everybody know, I had preplanned vacation to Sacramento, CA from December 23th - December 29th for the holidays. It was such a blast to get away and spend time with my friends and family!

Before leaving, I pulled out a large sum of cash for my trip. I withdrew money on a Saturday. I came home Saturday night, separated my one hundred dollar bills from the twenty dollar bills. I kept one hundred dollar worth of twenty dollars bills with me. I folded the one hundred dollar bills in half and kept it underneath my checkbook on my night stand. I spent the entire day Sunday with Gil. When I returned Sunday night to pack, I realized my money was missing. I turned my room upside down, my car inside out, checked the pockets of every piece of clothing I own (and that's a lot to go through), checked the trash, went to work to check to see if it could have been left at my desk and finally at 2AM, December 21st, two days before my trip I resigned myself to the fact that my money is gone one way or another and considered canceling my trip. I was freaking out and letting Gil know what happened at 2AM. Gil drove from his house over to mine to comfort me when he needed to work at 6AM. Gil insisted that I don't cancel my trip and for him to take out a title loan on his truck so I can still go. I immediately said no and it's my issue not his. He attempted to anyways, but his dad ended up loaning us some money.

5AM, December 23rd, I waited in the cold at the Albuquerque Airport to check in my luggage. A guy behind me in his late 40s or early 50s tapped my shoulder and said "Hey! Hey! Where are you from?" Running on two hours of sleep, I responded, "Originally Sacramento, CA." He said, "Oh... You look very familiar like a model from New York." I told him that I used to model in New York many years ago. He introduced himself as Tim and that he worked for MTV many years ago. I still had no clue who he was. Apparently, he's retired and was on his way to Texas. Tim then asked, "Have you heard of the Logo channel?" I then said to myself: "Ohhh... I see where this is going..." I responded, "The gay channel? Yeah..." Tim said he used to be the director of something or other for the Logo channel. We exchanged numbers and he said I was hot. Whether he recognized me as an ex-model or if it was a pickup line, it did make me feel good. Although, all I wanted to do was get on the damn plane and get to my destination to see my friends and family. I did just that!

I got on the plane and grabbed the front row like I always try to. Right behind me were three little kids flying without their parents. They screamed and kicked my seat throughout the entire flight from Albuquerque to LA, from LA to Sacramento. Any other time, my head would have exploded. But I put on my headset, closed my eyes to my ipod and was just glad I was coming home for the holidays.

I arrived in Sacramento and was waiting for Timineri to pick me up at the curbside of baggage claim. I never realized Sacramento had so many queens running around as opposed to Albuquerque. A guy came up to me and tried to make conversation, clearly just wanting my number, "It's freezing here! I'm from Huntington Beach..." I said "I'm from here so I'm used to it. Try to stay warm..." and I looked away. The guy got the hint and walked off. Timineri finally picked me up and we headed to Vining's place so Timineri could take his car since I don't ride a stick (so to speak) and I could take Timineri's car. After swapping cars, I headed over to Atkin's house to unload my luggage. When I arrived, his roommate Karin and her boyfriend was on their way out. I met her once before I moved to NM. I waived from the car and said hi as she looked at me like a sex offender (clearly she did not remember me). After reminding her, we had a big laugh then she handed me the spare house keys.

After unloading my luggage, I headed downtown to meet Timineri for lunch. I wanted to have sushi, but Timineri wanted to take me to a new Vietnamese restaurant that just opened downtown called Sarus. I ordered Pho as always. Interestingly, Timineri also ordered pho as oppose to his usual vermicelli. The food was good. The service was great.

After lunch with Timineri I did last minute Christmas shopping. I got Vining some stemless wine glasses, Timineri an automatic soap dispenser that I prefilled with lube, and Sister and Leo a set of dishes at Target. While shopping around at Target, on my first day back, out of all the people in the world I ran into Sammy. We said hi to each other and parted ways. While checking out, he was right behind me and sent me a text, "What are you doing here?" I thought it was rediculous that he sent me a text when I was right in front of him. I turned around and told him that I'm home for the holidays. He asked where Christopher was. I shrugged and told him I had no clue. You know how when you see someone and you don't really want to talk to them, but feel obligated to, so you make small talk? Yeah, I'm not like that. It was Sammy's idea not to be friends when we parted. So I said Happy Holidays to you and your family then abruptly left. I then headed over to Vining's for home made reuben sandwiches for dinner. Mmmm! Him and I also went to BevMo to pick mom up a gift card for Christmas. After hanging out with Vining for a while, I headed over to Sister's house. We hugged, kissed and talked for a while. Lordy! I missed my family. It was nice to see Mom, Leo, Sister and the big rock on her finger that Leo got her. Sister and I then went to TGI Fridays for dinner and did a lot of catching up. After dinner I headed out to the bars with Timineri and of course ran into a few of my people. First person I seen was Galloway at Badlands. It was very refreshing to see a familiar face. I then seen Heather and Ignacio, both former coworkers from Verizon. After hopping to Faces, we called it a night.

The next day, December 24th, I woke at 8AM to have coffee at Butch and Nellies with Hinchman. We talked forever, went to lunch at Plumb Blossom and ran a few errands. We then headed over to his place to hang for a bit.

After spending time with Hinchman, I headed over to Sister's house. Sister and I decided to go to the mall to check out the new Armani Exchange store. It wasn't as great as I expected it to be. We headed into Sephora so Sister can get some concealer. A really cute guy name Joseph helped us out. He also recommended me a tinted moisterizer which turned out to be the greatest thing in the world. After shopping around, getting hit on at Sephora, The Gap and Macy's, we were ready to go.

After dropping Sister off, I headed over to Anna's for her Christmas dinner party. It was fun! There were lots of food and people from Verizon. Anna was soooo beautiful in her dress. I finally got to see Julio so it was great to see him as well. Then in came my diva Mali. We did a little catching up before she had to go back to work.

I then left Anna's house and went to pick up my nephew Josh. Josh and I headed over to Denny's to talk, talk and talk some more. It was nice to see him. I missed the lil fucker. Apparently, he's back with this guy, DJ that I do not approve of. He drank an orange soda and I had a vanilla cappuccino latte. After I took him back to his hotel, I headed out to meet Timineri, Air Force Boy and Duncan to party our brains out and that's exactly what we did!

We all first met at the Depot. We gathered around, had a couple drinks, and talked. I started to miss Marshall while we were at Depot. I came back and was able to see everyone but him. It'd been over a year since his passing. I couldn't stick around Depot too long... Too much memories. We decided to head over to Club 21, but I had to go pee first. Heading out of the bathroom, in comimg was Joseph from Sephora. We said hi to each other then my crew and I headed over to Club 21. Club 21 was definitely more lively. AFB, Duncan and I partied the night away. I turned around on the dance floor and there was Joseph. So the four of us all danced together. AFB had a bit too much so we then called it a night.

Christmas morning, December 25, despite having a bit too much last night, I woke up at the butt crack of dawn to pick up Sister. The both of us rushed over to Uncle Dave's house like we always do every Christmas. We all gathered around, opened presents, talk, talk, talk and talk some more. It was so nice to see my family. After opening presents, Sister and Leo took me to Happy Garden for dim sum! Mmm! I haven't had good dim sum in so long. It was great!

After dim sum, I headed over to Timineri's. We went to visit his mom's grave. It was sad. It's hard for Timineri around this time of the year since his mom passed away Christmas day. After visiting his mom's grave, we headed out to Tea Cup for dim sum. We also invited Duncan since we knew he didn't have anything planned for Christmas either. Timineri wanted the same damn thing I just had an hour ago so I just sat there and nibbled with them. After Tea Cup, Timineri and I headed back to his place to watch the rest of Britney Spear's documentary special that we started.

After hanging out with Timineri, I headed out to meet Koji for a movie. When I arrived I guess plans changed. Before the movie I had to meet his mom and all of his mom's friends since they were having a Christmas dinner. I ate so much that I couldn't eat anymore. Everyone was very sweet and nice. We headed out to watch The Spirit. That movie sucked so bad that I fell asleep and we ended up walking out.

After hanging out with Koji, I headed over to Vining to hang out for a bit. He opened my gift and even telling him not to get me anything, he got me a Visa gift card and a McDonald's gift card. What a sweetheart. I then went home to head to bed. That pretty much concluded my Christmas.

The next day, December 26th, I got to sleep in somewhat. When my eyes opened, I jumped right out of bed and got ready to meet Homo-Sushi for lunch at Mizu. Mmm! I haven't had good real sushi in such a long time. While waiting for Homo-Sushi to arrive I was having SMS sex with Gil and accidentally sent one of the message to Simmons. There was some explaining I had to do about the person I was sending it to. Homo-Sushi arrived and we did some major catching up. After lunch with Homo-Sushi I headed out to find one of Gil's Christmas presents. I wanted to bring him something back from CA because I know he misses it. I wanted to find him a necklace of my Chinese zodiac symbol to represent a part of me would always be with him. You'd think at least one store in Asia town would have some but I had to go all the way downtown to an American gift shop to find some. I also picked up a jockstrap for him as a part of his presents.

After hours of running around to find Gil's present, it was time for me to meet up with Anzar and Munger for dinner at 33rd Street Bistro as planned. We did a lot of catching up. Anzar is seeing a cute nice guy now. I can't remember his name for the life of me, but he was a nice enough guy.

After dinner with Anzar and Munger, the party began! I headed over to Badlands to meet Timineri, Duncan, and Vining. Duncan and I danced all fucking night. I ran into Amoyen and others that are very dear to me. Of course my shirt completely came off at the clubs. Timineri befriended a couple of hot Asian girls. One of the girls was majorly into me while the other was completely in love with Timineri. After the club closed, the four of us tried to go to Sarus for Vietnamese sandwiches but they were closed. Vining kept on sneezing so I told him over and over to look at the street light. It was so hilarious. We then waited in line forever at Pieces for pizza then decided to walk home instead. On our way back to Timineri's house they all tried to give each other sobriety test by walking heel to toe on a straight line and they all failed. Vining had to pee in public on a post which I did catch on video. We all finally arrived back to Timineri's place. I headed out with Duncan to get McDonald's for everyone while Vining was fuckin' passed out. We all had great discussions over McDonald's and Timineri made me cry. I then took Duncan home and headed back to Timineri's place, held Vining as he mumbled things and fell asleep on the floor as he always does when he's drunk. I slept on the couch. We brought the party from the bar to the club, from the club to the streets, then from the streets to the house. We did not sleep 'till 4:15AM.

Despite not sleeping 'till 4:15AM, I woke up early December 27th and called Anna up around 10AM to embark on a trip to Yosemite that I planned to take. Anna and I first had breakfast at La Bou's. Being in New Mexico for a while I forgot places like that existed. It was a great trip! Anna and I did a lot of catching up in the car. We listened, jammed and sang along to our favorite tunes from my ipod. When we arrived in the park it was snowing and chains were required. We waited around forever to have a professional put chains on while we took photos in the beautiful snow. After our chains were put on, we slowly drove into the park and first headed to the Ahwahnee Hotel. Anna have never been and she loved it. After hanging at the hotel, we then headed to Yosemite Lodge to eat. I had a reuben sandwhich and Anna had freshly made pizza. We were running tight on time since it took forever to put on chains and we had to drive so slow inside the park, we headed over to the Village store so I could pick up a few things to complete Gil's Christmas presents. I picked up a bottle of Yosemite View Cabernet Sauvignon, Yosemite picture frame and a flashlight key chain for him. I picked up a couple of shot glasses for myself. After the store, we headed back to Sacramento so I could meet my boys out at the clubs.

Anna and I made it back to Sacramento. I first stopped by Atkin's house so I could quickly change for clubbing, then took Anna home. When I arrived into Badlands I first ran into AFB. He gave me a hug and told me I just missed Christopher. I shrugged it off. It was expected that he would also be in town. I then met up with Timineri. Timineri told me Christopher said the reason I moved out of our friend's apartment was because our friend didn't even like me and I couldn't get along with him. I went off like a firecracker because Christopher was in town to just spread rumors and make himself look like not such a bad guy to my friends. I wasn't having any of that so I ended up having a text message battle with Christopher. Christopher said I'm just creating drama. After going back and forth I finally broke down the truth to him. I told him he craves the drama. I told him he's not over Joseph (may God rest his soul) and he wants to relive what he went through with Joseph. That's the reason why he gets with crazy, drama driven people like Peter and admits that he sometimes like them crazy. He fucked up his relationship with Ron (despite the fact that Ron was shady to me). He probably had it good with Ron until he drove Ron to resort to nothing but cold emotions and harsh words, up until the day Ron left him. I told him he fucked his relationship up with me the way that he fucked his up with Ron. I left him for the same reasons and even more worse. I told him therefore he is in no position telling me that I'm causing him drama when clearly it is he who does things to fuel the fire that never was even there. As I closed out my SMS war with Christopher with "I hate you", AFB and his friend Philip got kicked out of Badlands.

It turned out Rice Queen Nemesis Justin was on the dance floor. Someone elbowed the Nemesis, he turned around and saw AFB and Philip and immediately thought it was them that did it intentionally and shoved them. In actuality, it wasn't them at all. AFB and Philip was wasted, so Philip took his fist and popped Nemesis in the face. So Timineri, AFB, Philip and I migrated to Mercantile. As I arrived in the back patio, guess who was sitting in front of my eyes? Come on, guess... You'll never figure out who it was. It was Ron sitting with my ex coworker. His friend delightedly waved to me, but my eyes were locked on Ron. I had the most vicious look on my face and as Ron turned around and seen me, he knew I was ready to fuck him up. For those who don't know, Ron and I used to be friends since high school. Ron is also Christopher's ex boyfriend before me. He stopped talking to me after he found out Christopher and I were together. I've sent him countless text messages and left plenty of voicemails throughout that past year, but non were returned. Instead, the weasel turned around and constantly text message and call Christopher asking him to fly home for Gay Pride with him, come home for his birthday, or take trips to Las Vegas with him. So I briefed AFB and Philip about Ron and they immediately walked over and got in his face. I yelled for them to come back and said "If anyone is gonna fuck that nigga up it's gonna be me!" Timineri got out of the bathroom and had to yank them away from Ron. Timineri said something to Ron that I couldn't hear. I'm sure it was somewhere along the lines of "Don't aggravate it even more or else Billy will definitely fuck you up." Right when Ron saw me, he knew what he has done. The douche bag had to walk pass me in order to get out of the bar and he couldn't even look at me. He had to look down as he walked away. I was ready to jump across the table and beat the shady bitch to a pulp if he was to even look at me with sass; he was wise not to.

My boys eventually cheered me up. We headed over to Sarus to get some Vietnamese sandwiches, luckily they were open. We were loud and obnoxious at the restaurant while waiting for our order, but that's how we fuckin' roll! We then brought it back to the Timineri's place and partied our brains out some more. I was not drunk at all since I was only able to have one drink because of all the bullshit that had happened, so I drove back to Atkin's house to sleep.

The next morning, I of course woke early again and headed over to Simmon's house. He recently just bought his first home. I'm so proud of him! He's in the process of remodeling his house and it's looking really good so far. We did a lot of catching up and then watched Milk together. The movie was really good. I missed him a lot. We've been friends since he was 19 and I, 16. Funny how we ended up having the same phone and the same car unintentionally. After hanging out with him I headed out to meet Timineri and AFB for sushi at Mikuni.

After a delicious lunch, I headed over to Mercantile to meet Panagos. We did a lot of catching up. He was one of many that I broke the news face to face about my relationship issues, having cancer and now couch surfing. He was sad to hear the news. But it was so nice to see him. What a wonderful guy. After seeing Panagos, I headed out to have sushi with Galloway for dinner at Zen. It was very pleasant to be in his company. The service was good, the food was good, nothing to complain. After dinner with Galloway, I headed over to Patrick and Paul's to hang out for a bit. I had to do the same with them as I did with many, I broke the big secret to them that I was hiding from people. They were very sad to hear and like most, have offered their home to me if I decided to come back. Gestures like that from such wonderful people remind me of how blessed and loved I am. The world isn't so cruel anymore. But I want to do it right. I'm not moving back until I've gathered enough savings to get myself my own place and secure myself a stable job to cover my expenses.

The next morning, Timineri took me up in the air for the first time. He gave me a quick 101 of how certain parts of the plane operate before going up in the air. The lesbian flight instructor was also with us. The flight was amazing. Looking down below to see the city turn into these massive dots makes me want to believe that these dots are not just jumbled together; they're all somehow connected. After landing, I rushed back to Atkin's place to pack my luggage. I then picked up a Vietnamese sandwich and some spring rolls and headed over to Timineri's so he could take me to the airport. As we approached the airport, Timineri placed his hand on top of mine. I did not cry because I know we love each other, I know I'll be back to visit soon and eventually not before long I will move back. My flight was on time and was a much more relaxing flight home. I fell asleep for the most part. When I woke up I ended up writing Gil a song. Initially, it started out as a song, then turned into a short poem.

As New Year's Eve rolled around, Gil and I was supposed to have a party. Due to our procrastination, we invited people last minute so no one showed up. After Marcus, Bo, Tiahn, Gil and I toasted champagne way before midnight and us heading out to other parties, I popped the question and asked Gil if he would be my boyfriend and he accepted. Gil and I headed over to his friend Yvette's house where we spent most of New Year's Eve playing truth or dare. There was a lot of nudity, streaking, toe sucking, ass kissing and arm pit licking! Everybody was so wasted. It was great! We all popped the champagne, counted down and toasted to the New Year!

So now that this blog have gone on long enough, may this new year bring everybody lots of luck, joy, success, prosperity, happiness and above all: love!
