"Confide In Me" 12/13/2008
Yesterday was such a long day. The day went by so slow! My papi went out for drinks with co-workers while I was at work. I'm glad he had a good time. I told him not to drive buzzed. I don't like worry about him like that. Papi went home and had a few more drinks so he was pretty drunk when I got home, but Daddy took care of his boy. I was somewhat upset, less upset, more worried than anything. I told him to start cutting back, especially on weekdays. I'm more ok with him drinking and getting drunk on the weekends. I just hope he isn't drinking because he have things on his chest that he needs to let out. I'm pretty sensitive about my man getting drunk not only for his well-being and safety, but it was when Christopher was drunk was when he did things he wasn't supposed to. I worked it out in my head and got passed it.
Gil spent the night last night. It felt so good to wake up next to my papi. We woke up, talked to Marcus a little and then we were off to Sunshine Cafe for breakfast. Knowing that Sunshine have issues reading my ATM card, I should have went to the ATM to pull out cash. After heading back to Sunshine Cafe, I ordered the lockes and bagel with a double shot espresso. Gil ordered smothered breakfast burrito. The food was so delicious. I know money is pretty tight for the both of us, but I just like taking my boy out for breakfast or something nice to do to get us out of the house so we can enjoy our time together not just indoors but also outdoors. I knew something was bothering my baby, but he wouldn't tell me what all day. Finally, he confided in me later in the day and it was just what I figured. I did let him know that he doesn't have to hesitate or worry about talking to Daddy if he has things on his mind. I'm blessed with such a wonderful man. He's everything that everyone else is not.
Tonight we will be hanging out with Marcus. I'm assuming we'll just crack open a few beers, hang around and just talk. Gil will be spending the night. Tomorrow, Gil and I don't really have any plans besides decorate the Christmas tree he just bought a few days ago.
Break is over! I can't wait to see my papi!
