"Gobble Gobble"
11/27/2008

Mood: Chippy

What an amazing night we had last night! Because of traffic, it took me forever to get to Burlington's to pick up my shirt and tie for the dinner party and Bo's and Marcus'. I got a hot pink Fumagalli shirt, Sean John's dress tie and Kenneth Cole cuff links. I then rushed to Walmart to pick up Kettle One Vodka and Chateu St. Michelle Riesling for the party. The lines at the 10 item or less was insanely worse than all the other registers. Perhaps Gil was right about how Walmart really sucks when it comes to checking out. After moving at a glacial pace at Walmart, I finally was able to rush home to take a shower and get ready. I ironed my shirt, put on my tie, and jumped into my new suit. We all know how long it takes for me to do my hair. I sure did look hot though.

I rushed over to Gil's place and picked my baby up. He was wearing a red cowboy flannel long sleeve that I really liked. He looked absolutely stunning. Gil helped me put on my cuff links and I drove for the first time. We arrived together. Gil got to meet Marcus, Bo and Brad; amongst other fine and wonderful people I myself met for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing. I took care of my baby and made him a plate. I totally forgot to take Pepcid AC so I was starting to get red. Poor Gil, I got him a little buzzed from finishing my screw driver. We all played apples to apples and had the biggest laugh I've had in a long time.

I then took my buzzed date back to his place. I wasn't expecting to spend the night again, but I did. We had a great conversation again. We have such great conversations. He's so sweet and tender with his words. The way that he treats me made me wanted to stay. I was holding him and he fell asleep for a while as he rests his head on my chest. It was just a great feeling. We then both cuddled and fell asleep.

I awoke to his smiling face. We cuddled for as long as we could before I had to head home to get ready to go to work. I'm here at work and waiting 20 minutes between calls so I decided to write. I can't wait 'till they send me home early so I can see Gil. We might head over to Lee's house for a Thanksgiving dinner. He's been wanting to meet Gil since he heard about him.

Happy Gobble Gobble day everyone! Party hard, but be safe! XOXOXO
